Part:18

A Week Later

The days passed quickly. Jungkook was buried in duties, his presence bound to the throne and councils.

Yn, on the other hand, spent her time in the palace library, her heart finding comfort only in the presence of Yoona Maa..

and With Ari she married now and living with Yoongi—visiting only twice a week—Yn had no one else close in the day light but in the nights

The nights belonged to her Alpha.Behind closed doors, where the world could not judge them, their bond grew—fragile, secret, carved in desperate kisses and whispered words.

But in the daylight, he was the Crown Prince, and she was only his claim. He was not hers to call freely, not hers to lean on.That truth tore at her silently, every single day.

In the Luna’s Chamber

The Luna sat on her throne gracefully, her every movement as poised as the dynasty itself.

She sipped from a porcelain cup of herbal tea, eyes cold, thoughts sharper than the rim of the glass.

Luna:“Did you mix the potion in her food?” she asked, voice calm but carrying command.

Mari bowed deeply. “Yes, My Luna. I’ve been giving Omega Yn the birth-control portion every single day.

Even on nights when she and the Crown Prince do not… unite. I would never disobey you.”

The Luna gave a slow nod, her gaze distant as though she already foresaw the outcome.

But Mari hesitated, shifting uneasily.

“My Luna… what if… what if she loses the ability to ever carry a pup? The potion is strong—strong enough to prevent a true-blooded Alpha’s knot from taking root.

It might destroy her womb completely.”

The Luna’s fingers tightened around her cup until it nearly cracked. Her next words came sharp as a blade.

“So what?”

Mari’s eyes widened.

Luna let out a low, humorless chuckle.

“What use is that ability to her? Do you think Omega Yn will ever be allowed to carry a child? Better if she loses it. Less complication.”

Mari’s lips parted in shock, but Luna only continued, her tone dipped in centuries of bitterness.

“This is the truth of our world. From generation to generation, Omegas exist to serve.

Even Yoona lost that ability long ago..It was never in ourhands to change the fate. And Yn… s

he has no future as a like her mother. Not in this dynasty. She should know her place—she has obeyed so far. And I,”

Luna’s smile curved, cold and sharp,

“I am generous enough to let her live in this palace. From a helpless baby to a grown woman—we raised her, fed her, gave her a roof.

Now she serves my son, the Crown Prince. That is her role, and she should be grateful.”

Mari bowed again, shaken but unable to protest.

“Remember,” Luna added firmly, “do not miss a single dose. Every day.”

“Yes, My Luna,” Mari whispered, before retreating quickly, leaving the Luna sipping her tea as if she hadn’t just crushed someone’s future with a single decree.

Elsewhere – With Yoona Maa

Yoona frowned as she leaned closer to Yn, sniffing lightly.

“Yn… your scent. It’s changed. Sweeter. Stronger.”

Yn blinked in confusion. “Has it? I didn’t notice anything.”

“You may not, but I do. Tell me honestly—have you felt anything strange? Any pain?”

Yn hesitated. “Sometimes from morning… my stomach hurts without reason. And goosebumps… I get them suddenly.”

Yoona’s eyes widened in realization. She reached out and checked Yn’s forehead, her heart hammering.

Before she could speak, a playful voice broke through.

Ari:“Finally, someone came to see her best friend,” Ari teased, sneaking in and hugging Yn from behind.

“Ari!” Yn smiled weakly, but the warmth faded as sudden pain ripped through her. She stumbled, clutching her stomach.

“Yn!” Both women rushed to her side, panic written across their faces.

Then Ari froze.

She inhaled deeply, and realization struck. Her eyes widened.

“She… she’s in heat,” Ari whispered.

Yoona’s face paled. “Her first heat…”

Yn’s body shook violently, her face flushed, sweat beading on her forehead as she whimpered.

“Alpha…” she gasped brokenly, tears slipping down her cheeks.

“Quick! Take her to the chamber,” Yoona instructed, frantic. “I’ll fetch remedies.”

Ari nodded, supporting Yn’s trembling body, half-carrying her down the corridor. But halfway, Ari stopped abruptly, eyes fierce.

“Ari, what are you doing?!” Yoona snapped.

“I’m going to get him,” Ari said firmly.

Yoona:“Him?”

“The Crown Prince. Her Alpha. She needs him now.” Ari’s voice cracked with desperation as she turned and ran.

At the Training Grounds

“Alpha!” Ari’s voice rang out across the courtyard.

Yoongi turned instantly, rushing to her side when he saw her breathless and pale.

“Ari, what happened? Are you alright?”

“Where is your Highness?” she demanded.

Yoongi frowned. “The Crown Prince? Why?”

“Yn,” Ari said quickly, panting. “She’s in heat. Her first heat. She needs her Alpha—now.”

Yoongi’s face shifted. “He left for the territories this morning. He won’t return until next morning.”

Ari’s face fell in horror. “What?”Yoongi nodded grimly.

Ari:“Then she… she has to endure this until morning?” Ari whispered, then cursed under her breath. “No. I won’t let her suffer.”

She turned sharply, but Yoongi grabbed her wrist. “Ari, wait—where are you going?”

“To her. Where else?” Ari snapped, eyes glistening with fury.

“Don’t you understand? She’s crying for him, for the Alpha who will never truly choose her.

Even if he was here, Yoongi, I doubt he would come. I’ve seen it from years with my own eyes—how he ignores her, how he looks through her like she’s dust.

but still She gave him everything, and still he—” her voice cracked— “he doesn’t see her.”

Yoongi flinched at the truth of her words. His heart twisted, but Ari pulled free and ran, leaving him standing still, sad written across his face.

Back in Yn’s Chamber

Yn lay curled on the bed, clutching her stomach, tears streaming down her cheeks. Her body burned, wracked by painful waves of her first heat.

“Maa, I… I can’t,” she sobbed. “It hurts so much.”

“Drink this,” Yoona urged softly, holding out a potion. “It will ease the pain.”

“Alpha…” Yn whimpered, voice breaking. “I want my Alpha…”

Yoona’s heart shattered at the pleads. She tried again, but Yn pushed it away, trembling, whispering his name again and again like a prayer.

The door burst open.

“Ari?” Yoona started, relieved.

Yn’s tear-filled eyes flickered to the door—hope blazing for a second. She whispered, voice fragile, “Alpha…”

But her heart sank when she saw only Ari, not Jungkook..The whisper broke into sobs.

“He isn’t here, Yn…” Ari whispered, her voice heavy. “He’s gone to the territories. He won’t be back until next morning.”

Yn froze.

Tears spilled silently down her cheeks. She reached for the potion, hands trembling, and drank it without another word.

Then she curled into herself like a child, hugging her knees, shaking with sobs as her stomach twisted in agony.

Yoona sat by her side, stroking her hair, whispering soothingly.

Yoona: “We can’t do anything, my child… we were born to endure this.”

Ari turned away, biting her lip until it bled, fury and helplessness crashing together.

This is all because of him… she thought bitterly. He is always the reason for her tears. I wish they would separate forever.

I wish she could live far away from him—with a mate who chose her, with pups of her own, with happiness that was hers.

But in the silent chamber, the only sound was Yn’s muffled sobs, pleading for an Alpha who was never there when she needed him most.

By evening

Yn was drenched in sweat, lying helplessly on the bed. Her body trembled with unbearable heat, slick pooling beneath her, flowing down uncontrollably..

The entire chamber was thick with her scent—sweet, intoxicating, irresistible to any Alpha.

It was the cruel nature of her heat, a call that demanded to be answered. But her heart ached because the one Alpha she longed for wasn’t there.

Her Inner Omega cried silently, broken at the thought of being abandoned. The pain made her body weaker, her heart heavier.

“Maa…” she whispered faintly, her voice breaking.

Yoona and Ari rushed closer, worry clouding their faces.

Ari: “Yn… do you want anything?

We will—”

Yn: “I am fine… you can leave. I want to be alone.”

Yoona: “Alone!? No way, Yn. Any Alpha could come and claim you. We can’t risk that.”

Yn: “I will lock myself in the chamber. I won’t let anyone enter, even your Highness.

Just… just send me food and medicines. That’s all I need.”

Ari: “But Yn—”

Suddenly, the chamber door burst open, slamming against the wall.

The Crown Prince stood there.

Yoona and Ari froze, shock flashing across their faces.

Yn, who was curled up on the bed, inhaled his scent deeply out of instinct—but the ache in her chest held her back.

She buried the urge, because remembering her Alpha had abandoned her still hurt more than the heat itself.

Jungkook stepped in, his dark eyes glowing faintly as the overwhelming aroma of sweet vanilla and roses filled his lungs.

His jaw tightened, his arousal twisting painfully within him, but his command cut sharp through the air.

Jungkook: “Leave. Leave now.”

Yoona hesitated, silently searching his expression, but said nothing. Ari’s anger flared—her mind seethed.

So he came now? When she’s broken in pain? Maybe not out of care… maybe just to fulfill his Alpha instincts. The thought disgusted her,

but when her eyes caught the vivid glow of his irises, she faltered. Yoona and Ari exchanged a worried glance before quickly leaving, unable to disobey.

As soon as the door closed, Jungkook locked it tightly. He shut every window, sealing the chamber, trapping her scent within.

His every action was deliberate, protective, possessive.

Yn curled into herself on the bed, refusing to look at him, refusing to acknowledge the Alpha who had hurt her heart so deeply.

Jungkook’s steps were slow, heavy, until he finally sat by her side. He reached out, his hand steady yet desperate, and placed it on her trembling shoulder.

With a firm but gentle pull, he brought her into his arms.

Yn yelped softly but her resistance collapsed in a heartbeat. She buried her face into the crook of his neck, inhaling the familiar scent she craved, nestling closer despite her anger.

His hand pressed against her small back, strong and steady, giving her support.

Yn: “Alpha… you hate me… why?” her voice cracked, soaked in hurt.

“Why didn’t you come to your Omega? Does Alpha not like his Omega at all?”

Jungkook stayed silent nothing come out from his mouth..just looking at her..He didn’t answer right away.

Instead, he cupped her face gently, lifting it so their eyes met. Without a word, he leaned in and captured her lips.

The kiss wasn’t rushed, wasn’t desperate—it was soft, slow, tender..A kiss that spoke everything some words couldn’t.

His thumb brushed her cheek as his lips moved against hers, igniting warmth that spread through the chamber.

Their scents swirled and merged, creating an intoxicating blend of Alpha and Omega that filled the air like a forbidden song.

In that kiss, Yn forgot her anger. She forgot the tears, the hurt, the cries of her Inner Omega.

All that existed was him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, clinging to him as if afraid he might vanish again.

And Jungkook—he didn’t care about anything else. Not the rules, not the palace, not the world. In that moment, it was only her. Only them.

The kiss deepened slowly, their tongues tangling, breaths mingling.

Their hands roamed over each other possessively, desperately, until they finally broke apart, panting, chests heaving, eyes burning.

Jungkook: “Now I am here for you… just you and me. Let your Alpha take care of you, my Omega.”
